STEP funds the graduate education of pairs of Palestinian and Israeli students (one Israeli, one Palestinian, from the West Bank or Gaza) in health and environmental sciences in Israel. The Fellows work on research projects, side by side, often daily, throughout their graduate degree programs. Together they overcome obstacles, further their careers and create new frontiers in science and medicine while developing deep, enduring personal and professional relationships. STEP Fellows attain leadership positions from which they influence their communities.
